"I didn't have a very good swim and was about 90secs down on the leaders in 6th place. I worked really hard on the bike to close some time but as I did not know the trails made a lot of mistakes. I started the run 4minutes down on the two leaders. I worked the first lap of the run and was getting constant splits to see I was gain back time. I took the lead with 1km Togo and enjoyed a satisfying victory"
