Team COOP Hitec-Products Navigates Rainy Stage 2 at Tour of Chongming Island

As the Tour of Chongming Island rolled into its second day, the anticipated bunch sprint at the finish was once again the highlight. Yet, much like the previous stage, an unexpected victor emerged. Hanna Tserakh claimed the top spot, outpacing favorites Marti Fidanza and Chiara Consonni, who secured second and third place respectively. 🥇🌟

Despite the inclement weather, with rain pouring down on Chongming Island, Olga Zabelynskaia embarked on a daring solo effort for approximately 117km. It seemed promising for a significant stretch, but the relentless peloton caught up with her in the final kilometer, setting the stage for a fierce sprint to the finish. 🌧️💥

For Team COOP Hitec-Products, the day was about strategic positioning, seeking refuge from the rain within the peloton. Each rider showcased resilience and determination amidst the challenging weather conditions. ☔️👏
