Nusantara Pro Cycling: A Journey Fueled by Passion and Ambition

In the heart of Yogyakarta, a group of cycling enthusiasts came together, bound by a shared love for the sport and the thrill of riding. Little did they know that their passion for cycling would evolve into something much greater – Nusantara Pro Cycling.

The team's journey began with exploratory rides, traversing the picturesque landscapes from the coast to the mountains of South Sea Java. These early rides laid the foundation for what would become a team deeply connected to the places it visited and the people it encountered along the way.

Fuelled by a strong desire to compete and win, the team's dreams took flight when they officially attained continental team status. The breakthrough came last year, marking their debut in the UCI race circuit. The invitation to the prestigious Tour of Qinghai Lake in the 2.Pro class was a significant milestone, opening the door to a series of Asian UCI races that spanned from the scorching lands of Malaysia to the chilly heights of the Himalayas on the Southern China-Nepal border.

As a relatively "small" and new team, navigating the challenges of competing at such a high level was no easy feat. With a roster of young, enthusiastic riders lacking experience, the team faced immense pressure – both mentally and physically. Yet, despite the difficulties inherent in the sport, the love for cycling prevailed. The riders embraced the challenges, holding onto their enthusiasm, motivation, and a steadfast determination to represent Nusantara on the grand stage.

For Nusantara Pro Cycling, the journey is more than just racing; it's about forging connections between places and people. The team's story is one of passion, ambition, and an unwavering commitment to keep fighting for Nusantara – a testament to the enduring spirit of this remarkable cycling collective.
