Mid-Season Recap: ECT Pro Cycling's 2024 Journey

As we reach the midpoint of the 2024 cycling season, we are thrilled to reflect on the outstanding progress and achievements of the EuroCyclingTrips team.

Season Highlights

Podium Finishes

Our team has consistently demonstrated dedication and skill, securing multiple podium finishes in prestigious UCI races. Some standout performances include:

  • Tour d'Algerie: A grueling 10-day UCI stage race where our star rider, Taj Mueller, delivered a remarkable 4th place finish overall. Additionally, David Drouin captured two impressive 2nd place finishes on Stages 8 and 9.

  • National Championships: A thrilling victory in the U23 National Time Trial Championships of Guam by our U23 rider, Blayde Blas, and the Elite title for Dan Aponik. These victories brought valuable UCI points to both our team and the nation of Guam.

  • Global Racing Calendar: Our team has already competed in over 50 days of pro races across the globe, from Oceania to the Americas, Europe, and Africa, solidifying our presence in the international cycling scene.

Team Growth

We’ve welcomed new talents to our roster, further enhancing our team dynamics and performance. The addition of riders like Taj Mueller, David Drouin, and Hugo Lutz-Atkinson has injected fresh energy and potential into our lineup. We’re also excited about some upcoming signings for 2025, which will add even more strength to our already successful group.

Innovative Equipment

Our riders have been equipped with upgraded textile technology from CCN Sport, delivering incredible fit and improved aerodynamics for all weather conditions. This has ensured that our team remains competitive in every race.

Community Engagement

Beyond racing, our team has actively engaged with communities, promoting the spirit of cycling through events, group rides, and vacations. From Guam to Palau, and spanning Australia to Canada, our riders have participated in national and local races, cyclocross, gravel, track, and mountain bike competitions. Their presence has also been felt in various cycling trips and holidays, where they've connected with key cycling demographics.

Looking Ahead

As we gear up for the second half of the season, our determination to achieve even greater success remains strong. With upcoming races such as the Salalah Tour in Oman, the World Championships, and the Tour of Rio on the horizon, we are confident in our team’s potential to excel.

Plans are already underway to further improve our race calendar and financial stability for 2025, alongside some very exciting potential new rider signings. We’re eager to see what the future holds as we continue to push the limits and make our mark in the cycling world.

Thank you for your continued support—together, we’ll reach new heights!

Onwards and upwards!
