X-Speed United, a prominent cycling team, embarked on an exhilarating journey as they made their debut in the UCI 2.2 GP Beiras held in Portugal from 26th to 28th May. With a challenging race course featuring mountainous terrain and unfavorable weather conditions, the team's resilience and determination were put to the test. Stage 1: A Test of Speed and Coordination

The competition commenced with a team time trial, where X-Speed United showcased their exceptional coordination and teamwork. Despite the fierce competition, the team delivered an impressive performance, setting the stage for their upcoming challenges.

 

Stage 2: Battling Through Hilly Terrain

The second stage presented a grueling 128km ride through hilly landscapes. The riders faced relentless climbs, pushing their limits and displaying their determination. The challenging conditions tested their physical and mental strength, but they persevered, showcasing their unwavering commitment to success.

 

Stage 3: Conquering the Grand Finale at Serra da Estrela

The grand finale awaited the X-Speed United team at Serra da Estrela, an awe-inspiring mountain reaching an astonishing altitude of 2000m. With a formidable 178km distance and 4000m of climbing, this stage proved to be the ultimate challenge. Despite heavy rain, wind, and cold temperatures, the riders tackled the treacherous course with unmatched courage. Only a select few managed to complete the race, with X-Speed United's Bernardo and Kristian among the finishers.

 

The Test of Endurance: Triumph Amidst Adversity

The demanding Portuguese terrain and harsh weather conditions tested the riders' limits to the extreme. With rain, cold, and wind adding to the already formidable challenge, many athletes were forced to withdraw from the race. X-Speed United's resilience was commendable, with only two riders crossing the finish line.
